
(Patria) - The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina at today's session designated 458 polling stations in 24 basic electoral units for the implementation of pilot projects in this year's elections.
The first pilot project "Voter authentication and transmission of results", which the Central Election Commission of BiH implements with the support of the European Union, will be conducted at 165 polling stations, i.e. 11 basic electoral units.
The second pilot project concerns the use of optical scanners with automatic transmission of results, which the Central Election Commission of BiH implements with the support of USAID at 145 polling stations in 7 basic electoral units.
The third pilot project involves identification and auto-identification of voters, and is conducted by the Central Election Commission of BiH with the support of the OSCE at 138 polling stations in Brčko District.
The fourth pilot project - video surveillance is implemented by the Central Election Commission of BiH in
10 polling stations, i.e. 5 basic electoral units.
