Novalić, how much longer: Prime Minister tells fasting workers to wait a month or two!?

Fadil Novalić, Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, has shocked the public in Bosnia and Herzegovina several times with his statements, but last night's appearance on FTV's Dnevnik went beyond all measures of taste, writes Patria.

Prime Minister Novalić referred to the hunger strike of the workers of TTU Tuzla, stating that this problem is not within the jurisdiction of the FBiH Government, but of the Tuzla Canton.

– Together with the TK Government, we have resolved all problems in Tuzla. We launched Dita, Aida, Konjuh… We have resolved everything except TTU, for which we have created a template on how to resolve it as well.

When asked why he did not visit the TTU workers, whose health condition is deteriorating, Novalić said that his representatives had visited them.

– Resolving a problem takes time. The TTU workers themselves say they haven't received a salary for 15 years, so they can wait another month or two – Novalić pointed out.

Such an arrogant performance by the prime minister has caused a wave of reactions, and social networks have "ignited" with comments on this statement by Novalić, which can clearly serve as an example of the saying "the full do not believe the hungry".

Patria has learned that both SDA membership and the closest leadership are shocked by Novalić's statement, and discussions have begun on how SDA could achieve a poor election result in the upcoming Local Elections due to such statements.

The public has not yet recovered from Novalić's statement that "citizens of FBiH live well, moreover, they are wasteful", and the prime minister has managed to further stir up the public again with the sentence that fasting workers can wait another month or two.
