Novalić's advisor Osmanagić threatened a shareholder who proposed Cenić for the Supervisory Board of Pretisa

-When minority shareholders of funds asked me to join the Supervisory Board of the company Pretis, blackmail from the advisor to the Prime Minister of FBiH Fadil Novalić started. Suvad Osmanagić dared to threaten the proposer of my name with everything, reveals economic expert Svetlana Cenić for the Patria News Agency about the background of the events concerning appointments to the Supervisory Board of this company.

- He threatened that the Government of FBiH would deal with him if he did not withdraw my name as a proposal. If Mr. Novalić allows this as Prime Minister, I have no further comments. As for me, I really do not want that position – says Cenić.

We remind you that Osmanagić was the head of Unis Group until April 2015, and then he became one of the advisors to the federal Prime Minister Novalić.

Several reports have been filed against him for negligent work in office. Even after being dismissed from the position of director of Unis Group in December 2014, Osmanagić repeatedly refused to hand over duties to the newly appointed acting director Normela Džafić and continued to perform his duties, arbitrarily and illegally representing the company in legal transactions with third parties.

However, even that did not prevent Novalić from hiring Osmanagić as his advisor.

Incidentally, Novalić is also linked to an affair concerning his dismissal from the position of director of the company Cimos TMD in May 2013, which is part of the Slovenian group Cimos, due to failure to implement the decisions of the Assembly regarding the appointment of a procurator and the reduction of the director's powers, violation of the individual employment contract, i.e., payment of a higher salary than agreed, and suspicions of multiple abuses of position.

Cimos issued a public statement at the time, stating that Novalić "conveyed false information to employees about the closure of all factories in Bosnia and Herzegovina by 2014 and caused irreparable damage to the company with such behavior".

Cenić said that Novalić "was lucky to be a director in a company that did toll manufacturing, where Cimos provided the market, raw materials, and especially when someone provides you with a market and gives you space to procure certain materials, then it is the most ideal position in the world and everyone dreams of being such a director."

Cenić explains that she is well-informed about the developments in the defense industry and that the main reason for the smear campaign against her was her knowledge of this area.

- There are some strange interests there, and I am really no longer interested in the position – says Cenić, adding that she has been living off her work for the last 10 years, not from the budget.

We also asked Cenić for her opinion on the joint company TMR of the current Prime Minister Novalić and the Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Nermin Džindić (who was the director of Pretis until February 2015). Incidentally, Džindić was proposed for this position by SBB, and it is known that he is close to Prime Minister Novalić, given that he was the director of Cimos in Sarajevo.

- What can I comment on, it is a conflict of interest, although there is no more conflict of interest in BiH. As you can see, everything is possible, so they will say that this is not a conflict of interest either. It is inappropriate because it allows for the use of public authority and positions for that company to profit. It doesn't have to be direct business through it, it can be indirect, but business can be resolved. I would like someone to also monitor related companies and so on, and then we will see before the mandate, after the mandate, who had what, who has less, how everyone does business and how each company operates – Cenić concluded.

The fact that Novalić surrounded himself with old acquaintances is also proven by his chief of staff Samir Iskrić, who managed the financial service at Cimos TMD and was also a member of the Supervisory Board of Pretis.

Incidentally, the TMR company is still registered in the Register of Business Entities under the name of Nermin Džindić as well as Novalić's daughter Ada, which is a conflict of interest because this company is part of the defense industry, an area that is under the direct jurisdiction of Minister Džindić.
