Novalić: "Sretno" was not enough for Muhamed, Sejad, Nermin and Mijo to come out of the pit alive

Federal Prime Minister Fadil Novalić, upon learning of the tragedy, immediately interrupted all regular activities and arrived in Kakanj to share the pain and condolences with the families, management and miners. Novalić spoke at an emergency press conference, reports a reporter from the Patria news agency. 

-We are here on the occasion of the most unfortunate event that can happen in a mine. This is the most dangerous job. We have a long history of accidents, and I would like that to change. According to initial findings, this is not a classic mining accident. The accident claimed four lives and that is a real loss, and the miners' greeting itself shows how dangerous this job is.

That greeting, unfortunately, was not enough for Muhamed, Mijo, Sejad and Nermin to come out of the pit. The problem will be the measures we must introduce to prevent accidents from happening again.

Since September 1, we have had 3-4 meetings, and at all of them the topics were mines and the biggest problem, safety. I saw that the main goal of the electricity policy is to raise safety to the highest level, Novalić pointed out.
