Novalić discussed government formation with IMF delegation

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH Fadil Novalić and Head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Mission for Bosnia and Herzegovina Martin Petri today, at the headquarters of the Federal Government
in Sarajevo, discussed the need for the fastest possible formation of government at all levels, announced the Office of the FBiH Government for Public Relations.

This is a prerequisite for further reform activities and the acceleration of Euro-Atlantic integration processes.

During the talks, which were also attended by the IMF Resident Representative in BiH Francisco Parodi, the Federal Prime Minister emphasized that the FBiH Government had excellent cooperation with the IMF over the past four years.

He said that the technical assistance and advice received from the IMF were particularly useful for maintaining budget stability.

Martin Petri expressed the expectation of the International Monetary Fund that the FBiH Government, in its new mandate, will continue to seek solutions that will lead to economic progress and further stabilization of the social sector.
