Novalić on OSA's double standards: How did they verify the story about camps in RS so quickly, yet say nothing about alleged terrorism?

(Patria) - The report of the Intelligence-Security Agency on the non-existence of foreign military camps in Bosnia and Herzegovina implies double standards in the agency's operations, said Fadil Novalić, a delegate in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"Namely, as soon as claims about camps for training Serbian extremists appeared, the OSA promptly reacted and denied those claims. But when it comes to the letter from Serbian deputies about Islamist terrorist training camps sent to the U.S. Congress, there is no reaction at all. Wait a minute! How is it that the OSA so quickly remembered to comb the terrain in the RS, but when Islamic terrorism is being fabricated, they probably need a couple of years to react?", Novalić said.

He added that such an approach only justifies speculation about political interference in the work of intelligence agencies, thereby calling into question their credibility and ability to act independently and in accordance with the interests of all citizens.

"We expect from the OSA consistency in approach to all relevant issues of national security, regardless of ethnic, religious or political connotations," Novalić concluded.
