Novalić: No need for panic, WHO will help if coronavirus appears

(Patria) - A meeting was held in Doboj between entity prime ministers Radovan Višković and Fadil Novalić, health ministers, and other participants from competent institutions to discuss the emergence of the coronavirus. 

Novalić said there is no room for panic, and all mortality rates indicate the situation is not dramatic.

„As entity governments, we will communicate regularly, and the World Health Organization (WHO) will immediately step in, but its condition is the appearance of the coronavirus. We conclude that there is no room for panic, no need to purchase either medicines or products; we see that shelves in centers are already empty. There is a firm commitment to be as prepared as possible for this situation,“ Novalić said. 

There are still no confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but several people are under surveillance.
