Novalić presents miners' demands to ministers in FBiH

The Government of the Federation of BiH will, at today's session which began in Sarajevo, consider the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Expropriation, which envisages enabling expropriation for the needs of mines, reports the Patria news agency.

The proposed amendment provides for the possibility of paying compensation for illegally constructed buildings, but only for those that represent the sole residential unit of the builder and members of their immediate family. The session will also consider a working version of the Law on Employment Incentives, which regulates the conditions for employers to exercise the right to incentives when hiring unemployed persons without work experience in the profession for which they were educated, or long-term unemployed persons.

The Federal Government will also consider the Decision on announcing a public competition for the selection and nomination of members of supervisory boards in companies with state capital participation where the Government of the FBiH exercises the competencies of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Government should also establish criteria for their selection and nomination.

Federal Prime Minister Fadil Novalić will today inform members of the Government about negotiations with the Independent Union of Mine Workers in the Federation of BiH, with whose representatives, since the appointment of this convocation of the FBiH Government, five meetings have been held so far.

The Federal Government will also today declare itself on a conclusion which tasks all federal ministries, federal administrations, federal administrative organizations, federal institutions and other federal institutions and services to immediately suspend all procedures for the recruitment of employees until September 1, 2015.
