The Government of the Federation of BiH yesterday discussed the results of the Agrokomerc sale, the Patria agency has learned from sources within the Government.
Sarajevo businessman Nihad Imamović is the new owner of a part of the former Velika Kladuša food giant, after he made the best offer for Agrokomerc, 12 million KM, at an oral auction held last Friday before the Municipal Court in Velika Kladuša.
Agrokomerc's assets will transfer to Imamović by the end of February, i.e., after Imamović makes the payment of the offered money.
In the process of selling Agrokomerc's assets, in addition to the buyer Imamović, the federal Prime Minister Fadil Novalić, his advisor Suvad Osmanagić, the federal Minister of Agriculture Šemsudin Dedić, and the President of the Supervisory Board of Agrokomerc Fadil Bihorac are directly involved.
Interestingly, the buyer Imamović did not attend the meeting at the Government yesterday. He called during the session. This source further reveals that another Sarajevo businessman, Mustafa Gadžo, who was also interested in buying Agrokomerc, attended the meeting. It is unclear what Gadžo's role was during yesterday's meeting at the Government.
During the public hearing at the Court in Velika Kladuša, Gadžo offered 5.5 million KM for Agrokomerc, but after Imamović's offer, which was twice as high, Gadžo's company "Silsila" was out of the game.
The entry of Imamović into Agrokomerc has been assessed by many economic analysts as a good business move, which should bring new investments to Velika Kladuša, writes Patria.
