Novalić and Forto led FBiH and KS delegations in talks on joint projects

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fadil Novalić, with advisors, met today at the headquarters of the Government of the Federation of BiH in Sarajevo, with Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton Edin Forto, and Cantonal Minister of Transport Adnan Šteta.

The meeting was also attended by the Federal Minister of Internal Affairs and Member of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly Aljoša Čampara and the Director of the Public Enterprise Railways of the Federation of BiH Enes Džafić.

Important infrastructure projects in the Sarajevo Canton were discussed, with a focus on the construction of new roads, primarily the First Transversal and the Sarajevo highway, i.e., the express road through Sarajevo.

The common stance of the meeting participants is that it is necessary to undertake all activities as soon as possible to relieve traffic in Sarajevo.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on measures to prevent the negative consequences of the pandemic on the economy.

The meeting participants agreed that timely exchange of information and coordination on joint projects is of crucial importance.
