Novalić and Džindić ignore delegates, did not attend the session of the House of Peoples PFBiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Even after the break, neither the Prime Minister of FBiH Fadil Novalić (SDA) nor the Minister of Energy, Mining, Industry Nermin Džindić (SBB) attended the session of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of FBiH, although amendments to the Law on Electric Energy are being discussed. These amendments were adopted by the House of Representatives of the Parliament of FBiH.

Aner Žuljević, a delegate from SDP, stated at the session that two months ago he requested the Government to declare how it would respond to the electricity price surge.

“The FBiH Government has had all the information about the draft contracts that EP BiH gave to businessmen for 2022 for two months. I am glad that we are here to show the level of responsibility, without the executive branch that did not want to help. This Government has been set up backwards towards this House from the beginning,” said Žuljević.

Vibor Handžić (Naša stranka) stated that it is not normal for no one from the Government to come and explain what these amendments will mean.

“In what proportion can it be, how will it look in figures. The Prime Minister sent an urgent request to this House to convene and adopt a law that he did not even propose,” said Handžić.

Elmedin Konaković (NIP) proposed to suspend the session and continue it when the Prime Minister and the Minister arrive.

“Let them inform us when they can come, we will wait. Let the Minister of Finance also come and say how much money can be allocated. They should not be afraid, of course there are questions. The proposer Jasmin Duvnjak cannot answer us. You have the opposition holding the quorum today, we are ready today to support budget interventions that will prevent the economy from falling to its knees. We will shut down the economy, who will fight, from what, we won't have money for anything,” said Konaković.
