Novalić: Government to sell stakes in FDS, Bosnalijek, and Sarajevo Osiguranje by year-end

Federal Prime Minister Fadil Novalić announced that the Government will adopt the Law on Linking Missing Years of Service in the next two months, which will enable a large number of workers who have met the conditions for retirement but whose contributions have not been paid to retire, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

Novalić also announced today in the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, presenting the Government's work plan until the end of this year, that the Government plans to sell its stakes in several business companies by the end of the year: FDS, Bosnalijek, and Sarajevo Osiguranje, and the money from the sale will be exclusively used to improve the liquidity of the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund (PIO/MIO).

In the next two months, the Government also plans to adopt the Law on Forests, the Law on Agricultural Land, the Law on Environmental Protection, the Law on Tourist Communities, the Law on Corporate Income Tax, the Law on the Tax Administration, the Law on Criminal Procedure, as well as a whole series of other legal solutions, which Novalić claims will bring a more positive environment to the Federation of BiH.
