Money from Elektroprenos will also go towards employment!

Entity Prime Ministers Nermin Nikšić and Željka Cvijanović confirmed today at a press conference in Sarajevo that the unblocking of "Elektroprenos BiH" has created conditions for opening new jobs in this company, primarily those in the electrical engineering field, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

As they confirmed earlier, out of the accumulated 308 million marks, 200 million will be directed towards investments in Elektroprenos BiH, and 98 million KM will go to the Government of the Federation of BiH and the Government of RS, in a ratio of 58% to 42%.

When asked by journalists whether part of the cake from the mentioned 200 million intended for investments in Elektroprenos would go to BiH companies, primarily "Energoinvest" Sarajevo and "Elektroinžinjering" from Banja Luka, both Nikšić and Cvijanović agreed that they would do everything in their power to ensure domestic companies participate as well as possible in Elektroprenos projects.

Nikšić stated that the Government of the Federation will direct part of its 58 million KM, which it received from Elektroprenos' accumulated profit, towards settling some old obligations, as this money was planned in last year's budget.

Ten million will also be directed to the Federal Employment Bureau to support projects for opening new jobs.

Part of the money will also be used to provide favorable credit lines, which will also aim to create new jobs.
