New Investments in Sports Infrastructure in ZDK: 200,000 KM Allocated for Sports Field Projects in Maglaj and Vareš

(Patria) - The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Zenica-Doboj Canton continues to provide concrete support to municipalities and their capital projects, as part of efforts to improve local infrastructure and conditions for sports development in all parts of the canton through strategic investments.

Minister Mirza Mušija today signed agreements on co-financing capital projects with Maid Suljaković, Mayor of Maglaj Municipality, and Ermin Musa, assistant to the Mayor of Vareš Municipality, Zdravka Marošević.

These agreements approved funds in the amount of 100,000 KM each – for Maglaj Municipality for co-financing the project "Construction of the auxiliary field of the City Stadium in Maglaj – Phase I" and for Vareš Municipality for the capital project "Reconstruction of the city stadium in Vareš".

"Support for the implementation of these projects is part of the broader commitment of the ZDK Government to invest evenly in all local communities, strengthen local capacities and contribute to creating better living conditions for citizens. The Ministry actively monitors the needs of municipalities and cities in the areas of sports, culture, education and science, and through planned funds seeks to respond to priorities coming from the local level," said Minister Mušija.

According to his words, the ZDK Government and the relevant ministry will continue to provide support to similar initiatives in the coming period, with the aim of creating functional, modern and accessible infrastructure for all citizens, especially children and young people, to whom such projects offer a healthier and higher-quality environment for growing up and development.
