New Profession and Job for 400 People from FBiH

The Local Development Improvement Project (GOLD), launched by USAID in BiH, the Swedish Embassy, SIDA, and the FBiH Employment Bureau, will enable employment for 400 unemployed individuals registered with employment bureaus in the Federation, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

As NAP has learned, this project will involve retraining and employment for 400 individuals who have been unable to find work in their field of expertise until now.

Retraining will be conducted in professions that are in deficit in the Federation, with the greatest need identified in the textile industry.

David Barth, Mission Director of USAID in BiH, Nataša Miškin, representing the Swedish Embassy/SIDA, and Kenan Rešo, Director of the Federal Employment Bureau, will sign the project agreement on Monday at the ASA Art Gallery in Sarajevo.
