New break at the session of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Assembly of the Sarajevo Canton is in session.

12.11 After the exposé of the candidate for the composition of the new Government of the Sarajevo Canton, Mario Nenadić, delegate Mahir Dević (SDA) requested a 15-minute break.

10.50 After the break, the voting on the agenda began, which was adopted with 35 votes. Then Bibija Kerla proposed that delegate questions and initiatives be the last item on the agenda. This proposal was adopted with 19 votes in favor, 14 against, and 2 abstentions. The explanation of the Proposal for a Decision on the Confirmation of the KS Government is underway.

10.20 The session of the Assembly of the Sarajevo Canton began with the singing of the BiH anthem, during which the new KS Government is expected to be confirmed.

The beginning already showed that this would be a long and turbulent session, when delegate Elmedin Konaković requested an interpretation according to which article of the Rules of Procedure the Collegium changed the agenda and proposed changes to the government's composition.

We remind you that due to conflicts within the SDA, Emir Hadžihafizbegović (culture) and Senad Hasanspahić (veteran issues) are expected to be replaced in the new Government by Kenan Alikadić and Hajrudin Grabovica.

Independent delegate Damir Nikšić also requested clarification of certain procedures which he considers to be not in accordance with the Rules of Procedure.

Then the secretary of the KS Assembly gave an interpretation, after which Konaković requested a 15-minute break for consultations on the agenda.
