New indictment against Sejdić and 12 other members of the Army of RBiH!?

(Patria) - A team of prosecutors from the Special Department for War Crimes has filed an indictment against 13 individuals, former commanders and members of the Army of RBiH, who are charged with war crimes against victims of Serb nationality in the village of Jošanica near Foča in December 1992, during which 56 Serb civilians were killed, about 10 victims were wounded, and houses, property, agricultural and auxiliary buildings were burned and destroyed.

The armed attack, which the accused led and participated in, was carried out on an undefended village inhabited by civilians, and among the victims were elderly people, women and children; the oldest victim was an 88-year-old man, and the youngest victim was a 2-year-old girl. Some of the victims were tortured and killed in an extremely cruel manner.

Accused Sejdić Ahmet, as commander of the brigade and member of the Territorial Defense Staff, is additionally charged with crimes in the villages of Klisure, Bursići, and Hadrovići in the municipality of Višegrad, on August 8, 1992, which were outside the conflict and inhabited by civilians of Serb nationality, where during the attack 8 Serb civilians were killed, including the oldest victim, a 90-year-old woman, one civilian was wounded, and three civilians were taken into illegal detention in the area of Višegrad, and houses and buildings were burned and destroyed.

Accused Buljubašić Ferid, as commander and superior, is additionally charged with war crimes against civilians of Serb nationality in the villages around Čajniče in February 1993, where during an attack in which soldiers of the Army of RBiH arrived via the territory of Montenegro, in the area of the villages of Šapići, Trpinje, Trojan, and Ponikve, eleven Serb civilians, including elderly men and women and one child, were killed by automatic gunfire, and 5 civilians were wounded, and houses and property were burned and destroyed.

The prosecution will prove the charges by calling more than 400 witnesses and presenting more than 1200 pieces of evidence.

The accused are charged with criminal offenses:

- War crime against the civilian population under Article 173 of the Criminal Code of BiH
- Violation of the laws or customs of war under Article 179 of the Criminal Code of BiH
- Organizing a group of people and inciting the commission of the criminal offenses of genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes under Article 176 of the Criminal Code of BiH.

11. Čakar Sakib, born in 1957 in Višegrad
12. Sejdić Izet, born in 1955 in Višegrad
13. Nalo Munir, born in 1970 in Višegrad

We remind you that Sejdić was indicted by the Prosecutor's Office of BiH in 2016 for crimes against the civilian population and prisoners of war in the area of the municipalities of Rudo, Višegrad, and Goražde, but he was finally acquitted in 2020!
