New indictment against Mehmedagić, Cikotić, and Druškić

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The BiH Prosecutor's Office today filed a new indictment against Osman Mehmedagić, Director of the Intelligence-Security Agency (OSA), Selma Cikotić, BiH Minister of Security, and Muriz Druškić, an OSA employee, after the BiH Court refused to confirm the first indictment in early January this year.

"The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, after the case was returned to the investigation phase in the case against Mehmedagić Osman, Cikotić Selma, and Druškić Muriz, undertook additional investigative actions, after which, on February 17, it again filed an indictment against the aforementioned, and sent it to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina," stated Boris Grubešić, spokesperson for the BiH Prosecutor's Office, in response to Patria's inquiry.

The BiH Prosecutor's Office charges Osman Mehmedagić, Selma Cikotić, and Muriz Druškić, advisor to the Director-General of the Intelligence-Security Agency of BiH and member of the Council of Ministers of BiH Commission for deciding on appeals in security clearance cases, with the criminal offense of abuse of position or authority under Article 220 of the Criminal Code of BiH during the appointment of members of the Second Instance Commission.

The investigation was initiated based on a criminal complaint filed by certain police and state officials of SIPA and the BiH Prosecutor's Office.

Mehmedagić's trial for abuse of position related to the extraction of video surveillance recordings from JP "BH Pošta", which were subsequently published in the media, concludes on Friday. Muhamad Pekić, an OSA employee, is also on trial in this case.
