While Bosnians and Herzegovinians will only welcome the new year 2016 at midnight, some countries have already welcomed the New Year, writes the Patria News Agency.
The countdown has already begun in some parts of the world. At 11 AM our time, Christmas Island was the first to enter the New Year, thus starting a wave of countdowns across the planet.
An hour after the Samoans and 5,000 inhabitants of Christmas Island, New Zealand's residents entered 2015, followed by those in Australia. American Samoa's residents will be the last to enter 2015, a whole day after Samoa, despite being only 80 kilometers apart.
