SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The non-working day for New Year's in the Federation of BiH will also be Monday, January 3rd.
The Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Policy announced today that the law stipulates that New Year's is celebrated on January 1st and 2nd. If one of the days on which New Year's is celebrated falls on a Sunday, the first working day after those two days is considered a holiday.
Given that January 2nd, 2022, falls on a Sunday, the first next working day, i.e., January 3rd, 2022, will also be considered a holiday.
