New drama in France. Media report that two people have been taken hostage in a jewelry store in Montpellier in the south of the country.
It is not yet known if this case is related to the recently resolved drama, in which police killed two attackers a few moments ago, suspected of the murder of a cartoonist from the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo and two police officers, which occurred on Wednesday in Paris, reports the BiH news agency Patria.
As the media write, two people are locked in the store in the city center, and the police have surrounded the area.
There is no detailed information yet about the new hostage crisis, however, media report that it could be an attempted robbery.
In addition to brothers Cherif (32) and Said Kouachi (34), French police on Friday afternoon killed another kidnapper, who held hostages in support of the terrorist brothers, writes NAP.
