Norwegian cruise ship returns to port with the help of tugboats

(Patria) - The evacuation from the Norwegian cruise ship Viking Sky has been halted after three out of four engines started working and the ship is slowly returning to the port of Molde with the help of tugboats, the Norwegian coast guard announced. Meanwhile, 460 out of 1373 people from the ship, which had all its engines fail on Saturday, had been evacuated by helicopter. The cruise ship sent a distress call on Saturday afternoon, and the ship's operator later confirmed that there were 915 passengers and 458 crew members on board.

The police confirmed that 16 people were taken to three hospitals with injuries. As reported by the NTB network, three people were seriously injured.

Terrified passengers, meanwhile, tweeted that the ship's crew had done a great job and were doing everything they could to keep all passengers calm.
