It's only normal that it can't get crazier

If it were at all possible to speak of one key problem in the functioning of Bosnia and Herzegovina, even as a complex community of entities that is constitutively fractured to the limits of ultimate functionality, then it would certainly be - before and after all else - the problem of power being displaced from the institutions of the (what little there is of a) system into the hands of political party leaders. The return of power and authority to the institutions is the first step that needs to be taken on the path to ensuring not only the functionality of the state and society, and at the same time, equally, the last thing political figures will allow to slip from their grasp! In other words, it is literally impossible to imagine a situation where BI, MD, and DČ (and ŽK and all the others) voluntarily and arbitrarily give up managing - ruling by ruling - (all) processes in the country and hand them over to the official institutions of the system because they don't know how, can't, or won't agree.

Namely, it is more than clear and there is no longer any reasonable explanation for the non-functioning of the state and society other than to name and surname - no longer even the party - the main culprits. The meeting of 19 "leaders" or as one of them pejoratively called it, "BiH in miniature"(?!) is perhaps the best indicator of the dislocation of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian narrative. Meeting with an obscure group of "warring" individuals who hug and kiss each other on the neck (because they have no shame) congratulating each other on mandates, instead of meeting with official representatives of institutions, some Presidency of the state, some Chairman of the Council of Ministers and some entity prime ministers or presidents and members of presidencies of parliaments and assemblies... even representatives of European institutions legitimize and legalize the situation: you elected them, deal with it! Shrugging their shoulders and trying to discipline BiH politicians at least to the extent that they don't spread damage to the rest of Europe, from ecological pollution to the Balkanization of the EU.

Accepting an abnormal given does not make the given normal... Or, in other words, the fact that one, two, three... or nineteen people decide whether three million people will start living or, in the worst case, start killing each other again is not normal, but an indicator of the ultimate madness we have fallen into. This problem is further complicated when the whole story boils down to just two letters... besides the importance given to it that it doesn't deserve in any way - it's obvious from above that the strength of ŽK is actually the powerlessness of BI. But that is actually a smaller problem.

We don't live off whether these nineteen will agree on anything or not. Whatever happens, it won't be better for us until we solve more serious problems, and it won't be worse for them even if no problem is ever solved... they can't, even if they wanted to, lose their jobs. There will always be something for them from five to seven thousand marks plus some allowances, just so they can survive and pay their bills.
We need to talk about the real problem that should concern us all because it could all catch up with us all, today or tomorrow, in a language everyone understands. The problem is: why doesn't the police find and arrest murderers? Why doesn't the prosecutor's office prosecute murderers? Why don't the court(s) convict murderers? Do these people have children? Do they really think that this cannot happen to their children or grandchildren?

The real problem is the fact that a person can be killed and not be held accountable, not the recall or dismissal of the "commissioner"! If he had even professional integrity, let alone moral responsibility, the question of his dismissal would never have even come up on the agenda of any commission, simply because he would have resigned long ago for not being able to organize and direct his subordinates to find out who killed two of his colleagues. The real problem for Bosniaks are Bosniak, for Serbs Serbian, and for Croats Croatian liars, thugs, thieves, and murderers.

The real problem is the countless number of accused of various criminal offenses who are elected and sit in numerous assemblies (legislative bodies!) and pass laws, dictate rules, and establish standards. In short, as long as Serbs and Croats do not understand that their enemies are not Bosniaks - and so on in a circle - but Serbs, Croats, and Bosniaks who lie, steal, and kill in their name, we will live in and with our problems, and they will profit from our problems.
