NOKIA 3310: The beloved model makes a grand return

17 years after it was first launched, the Nokia 3310 mobile phone model is returning to the market, writes The Guardian, reports Patria.

HMD Oy Global, the Finnish manufacturer with exclusive rights to the Nokia brand, plans to launch an upgraded version of this indestructible model by the end of February.

By 2005, when production ceased, Nokia had sold 126 million units of this model, making it the best-selling in the world.

The new model will initially be available only to European and North American customers, and will cost 59 euros – significantly less than its original price of 152 euros in 2000.

It is still unknown how close the new version will be to the original model, which became iconic thanks to its long-lasting battery, indestructibility, and the Snake II game.
