
(Patria) - The Federal Hydrometeorological Institute has issued an orange warning due to extremely low temperatures from Sunday to Monday, across the entire territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The warning applies to the period from last night at 10 PM to today at 10 AM, and according to forecasts, temperatures in most of the country will range from -15 to -10 degrees Celsius, while values from -6 to -2 degrees Celsius are expected in the south.
The Federal Hydrometeorological Institute warns that such low temperatures could pose a health risk to the elderly, children, and chronically ill patients.
Citizens are advised to avoid prolonged stays outdoors during the night and early morning hours, and to follow the recommendations of competent institutions and civil protection services.
The highest daily air temperature will be mostly between -5 and 1°C, up to 4°C in the south of the country.
In Sarajevo, it will be sunny with moderate cloudiness. The lowest morning air temperature will be around -14°C, and the highest daily temperature around -4°C - according to the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute of BiH.
