(Patria) - BiH Minister of Defence Zukan Helez received the Military Attaché of the Federal Republic of Germany to BiH, Colonel Franz Josef Nolte, in Sarajevo today.
Nolte informed him that the German Government has allocated 6.5 million euros in the 2024 budget for infrastructure projects within the Armed Forces of BiH.
According to him, within this 6.5 million euros, 1.5 million will be spent on the procurement of field uniforms for members of the Armed Forces of BiH.
Also, in addition to these already approved funds, there is a possibility that Germany will assist with an additional million euros, which would be spent on infrastructure projects in the barracks of the BiH Armed Forces in Pazarić.
All the mentioned funds aim to improve the living and working conditions of the members of the BiH Armed Forces at our locations.
The German Military Attaché thanked Minister Helez for his hospitality during the visit of the German Minister of Defence Boris Pistorius to our country, and invited him for a return visit to his German counterpart, Pistorius.
- The constant support that Germany provides to our country has made Bosnia and Herzegovina and Germany true friends in every sense of the word - said Minister Helez on this occasion.
