Unknown armed attackers abducted a German woman who worked for a humanitarian organization in Afghanistan, Al Jazeera reports, as carried by the Patria news agency.
Kabul police official Muhammad Hamayon said that the German national, who worked for the German Society for International Cooperation, was abducted this morning. An investigation has been launched into the case. In June, a Dutch humanitarian worker was also abducted in Kabul, and the investigation into her abduction has yielded no results to date.
