Low temperatures call for caution on the road due to possible black ice

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Due to low temperatures this morning, we warn drivers of possible black ice. We advise special caution in mountainous areas, as well as on bridges, viaducts and approaches to tunnels. We also draw attention to frequent landslides of earth or rocks onto the roadway.

We remind you that possession of winter equipment is legally mandatory. 

Due to works in the Crnaja tunnel on the Konjic-Jablanica road, traffic alternates during the day, using one lane, while during the night hours (11:30 PM to 4:30 AM) traffic is suspended.

On the Jajce-Donji Vakuf main road, due to works in the Skela tunnel, traffic alternates during the day, using one lane. During the night hours (10 PM to 6 AM) traffic is suspended and redirected to the bypass around the tunnel (near the Metaling factory).

Traffic is slowed due to works on the following road routes: Jablanica-Mostar (Komadinovo vrelo to the Begić and Begović bridge), Grude-Ljubuški (at the exit from Grude) and Stolac-Hutovo (in the village of Cerovica).

Due to an activated landslide, on the section of the Foča-Goražde main road (in the village of Filipovići) traffic is slowed, using one traffic lane.

There are no longer waits at border crossings.
