(Patria) - Although the outgoing Prime Minister Nihad Uk could not clearly specify today which ministers of the KS Government will be replaced, until he receives final proposals, the movement For New Generations confirmed today their candidates for the two ministries allocated to them in the new KS Government.
ZNG has one representative, Damir Marjanović, but also the support of Redžo Lemezan, an independent representative. However, this was enough for the parties of the Trojka to give them two ministries.
"We confirm that our movement, with the support of the independent representative Mr. Redžo Lemezan, and in agreement with the Trojka parties, has undertaken the obligation to propose candidates for the positions of minister and deputy minister in the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Youth and the Ministry of Finance.
The Management Board of the Movement unanimously supported Prof. Dr. Adna Mesihović as a candidate for the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Youth and Dr. Sc. Afan Kalamujić as a candidate for the position of Minister of Finance in the future government of Sarajevo Canton", stated ZNG.
Independent representative Redžo Lemezan addressed journalists today stating that one minister, Almir Bečarević, blocked the work of Sarajevo Canton in the KS Government. Prime Minister Uk denied such claims and clearly stated that the current government lost the support of the Party for BiH, a new majority was formed, and the new partner has the right to propose their ministers.
Lemezan said that Bečarević is responsible for the communal economy sector, and that the city is dirty. When asked if the Minister of Health, Haris Vranić, is also responsible for all the bad things in healthcare in KS, Lemezan said: "I did not say that."
Given that information has emerged that Minister of Health Haris Vranić will not be in the future KS Government, Lemezan said today that "Vranić is not being dismissed, the question is whether he will resign from the position of minister, and that is a question for SDP".
"If Minister Vranić is again proposed as Minister of Health, I will support that proposal because he did a good job in difficult health circumstances in KS", said Lemezan.
However, there has been no official information from SDP BiH for days whether Vranić will be in the new KS Government. Although he initially claimed he would not resign, the decision is now up to the head of the Sarajevo Cantonal Committee of SDP BiH, Adnan Šteta, who is also the Minister of Transport in the KS Government.
The Speaker of the KS Assembly, Elvedin Okerić, who is also the head of NIP Sarajevo, confirmed to Patria that this party will not change its ministers in the KS Government.
"NIP will not have changes within the KS Government. We will see what other coalition partners will propose. I have no information that all names have been finalized. We will leave room in the next month for coalition partners to submit names and potential changes to their cadres", said Okerić.
