Nikšić's government claims it will soon send a set of fiscal laws to parliamentary procedure

(Patria) - The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina at today's emergency session held in Sarajevo adopted a conclusion to withdraw from parliamentary procedure, for the purpose of revision, the Proposal for a Decision on Amendments to the Budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2023 and the Proposal for a Law on Amendments to the Law on
Execution of the Budget of the FBiH for 2023, which had previously been submitted to the Parliament of the FBiH under urgent procedure.

At today's session, a conclusion was also adopted proposing that the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the FBiH not include on the agenda of the 4th session the Proposal for a Law on Amendments to the Law on Contributions and the Proposal for a Law on Amendments to the Law on Income Tax, whose proposers are members of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the FBiH Admir Čavalić and Irfan Durić. As stated in the conclusion, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will, as soon as possible, submit to parliamentary procedure a set of fiscal laws concerning the relief of the economy.

The Federal Government accepted the statement of the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy on amendments to the Proposal for a Law on the Protection of Civilian Victims of War in the FBiH, submitted by the Club of Delegates of HDZBiH-HNS in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the FBiH.

Changes in supervisory boards

Given that certain proposed candidates for the position of acting members of the Supervisory Board of the Joint Stock Company BH Telecom Sarajevo submitted a statement of non-acceptance of the function, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Communications, gave prior consent for the appointment of Sedad Avdić, Samir Čorba, Affan Ćehajić, Alma Zildžić,
Faruk Hadžić and Zoran Marijanović as acting members of this supervisory board on behalf of state capital, until the completion of the competition procedure, and for a maximum of three months.

In the explanation of the Ministry, among other things, it is stated that the adoption of this decision is necessary for the continuity of the work of the management and operations bodies of the Joint Stock Company BH Telecom Sarajevo, as a public enterprise of
state interest.

At the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Communications, a new decision was also adopted on giving prior consent for the appointment of Željko Petrović as acting president, and Igor Josipović, Ahmed Mušija, Nermin Bojčić and Nermin Jašarević as acting members of the Supervisory Board of the Public Enterprise Roads of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina d.o.o. Sarajevo, until the completion of the competition
procedure, and for a maximum period of three months. In the explanation of the Ministry, it is stated that the adoption of the new decision is necessary due to a technical error in the previously adopted decision.
