Nikšić: For some time now, whatever Milorad, Dragan and Bakir agree on is harmful to the state of BiH

While the SDA today reacts to the statements of SBB leader Fahrudin Radončić, others have remained almost silent about today's meeting of the leaders of HDZ BiH and SNSD, Dragan Čović and Milorad Dodik, Patria writes.

Only a brief statement that "the SDA considers unacceptable and will not support the adoption of any Law on the Constitutional Court of BiH that would change the jurisdiction and composition of the Constitutional Court, especially the presence of international judges appointed by the President of the European Court of Human Rights.

Dodik said today that he does not believe that BiH will respond to the European Commission's Questionnaire on time, and the delegations of the two parties discussed internal relations in the country.

One of the points of the meeting was also the proposal of the Law on the Constitutional Court of BiH. Both parties believe that foreign judges in the Constitutional Court of BiH are unnecessary and that they should be replaced by domestic judges.

Dragan Čović announced talks with other political parties in BiH in order to obtain the necessary parliamentary support for the adoption of the Law on the Constitutional Court of BiH.

However, those well acquainted with the situation in BiH and the ultimate intentions of this duo today rightly express doubt about the honorable intentions of Čović and Dodik.

Nermin Nikšić, leader of the SDP, tells Patria that past situations indicate danger when it comes to agreements from the meetings of Čović and Dodik.

- Unfortunately, for some time now, whatever Bakir, Dragan and Milorad agree on in any combination can only be harmful to the state of BiH and all its citizens and peoples. These are parties that fight for the interests of narrow circles gathered around their leaders, and everything they do is aimed at satisfying those interests.

The specific law allegedly proposed by HDZ and SNSD is unacceptable for the SDP because its goal is to create a new mechanism for blocking everything in this country in order to achieve the interests of these two parties – says Nikšić.

The Law on the Constitutional Court of BiH, which HDZ and SNSD are agreeing on, is an attempt to turn this institution into a new House of Peoples because it envisages the introduction of ethnic voting without which no decision can be made, Nikšić believes.

- No court in the world functions on such principles. This is a continuation of the policy of dismantling BiH and an attempt to organize BiH as a confederation of three peoples, which would as such disintegrate into three ethnic mini-states in a very short time.
Instead of dealing with attempts to achieve war goals through political means, HDZ and SNSD should explain to pensioners why their pensions are not increasing? They should tell workers until when they will introduce new taxes and levies?

They owe all citizens an answer as to when the construction of highways and other infrastructure projects, which have been completely blocked since the stable coalition came to power, will begin - adds Nikšić.

We call on their third partner, Izetbegović's SDA, to clearly declare itself on the policy of its coalition partners who clearly want the division of the state of BiH, Nikšić is clear.

- Until when will the SDA pursue a policy in which it publicly opposes such a policy but in practice does nothing to stop it, but when needed, Izetbegović saves either Dodik from financial collapse or Čović in his efforts to build a third entity in every law and decision.

It is clear that any agreement between Dragan, Milorad and Bakir has long been not in the interest of BiH and its citizens and peoples. Their parties only look at how to achieve the interests of the quasi-elites gathered around the leaders of these parties. 

In doing so, Čović never mentions the position of Croats in the RS, for Dodik Serbs in the FBiH practically do not exist, while Bakir does not see Bosniaks beyond Ivan Sedlo and Kozija ćuprija, not to mention that all others absolutely do not interest them - added Nikšić.
