Nikšić with Christel Schaldemose: Unacceptable Attempt to Impose Solutions to BiH Election Law

(Patria) - Via video link, Nermin Nikšić, President of the SDP, held a meeting with Christel Schaldemose, head of the Group of Danish Social Democrats in the European Parliament.

"I informed her about the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Special emphasis in the conversation was placed on the attempt to destabilize the state and its institutions. We agreed that the attempt to impose solutions to the Election Law of BiH, which are contrary to European principles and rulings of the European Court of Human Rights, is unacceptable.

MP Schaldemose gave unequivocal support to the positions of the SDP BiH in the process of reforming the Constitution and electoral legislation, as well as in relation to the separatist aspirations of Milorad Dodik and his partners. 

The conversation was held as part of preparations and consultations ahead of my address tomorrow to the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats group in the European Parliament", Nikšić stated.
