Nikšić: Pudarić devoted his entire life to the idea of a plural BiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Unfortunately, our comrade Svetozar Pudarić, our Sveto, lost his final battle. A vicious disease proved stronger and took him from his family too soon. The loss is no less for the SDP, and for Bosnia and Herzegovina. We last exchanged messages on Thursday, and he said he was not well, reads the telegram of condolences from the President of the SDP BiH, Nermin Nikšić, on the occasion of Pudarić's death.

"Those dark forebodings came true today. Sveto was above all a good man and comrade. He left an indelible mark on the SDP, but also on the political life of Bosnia and Herzegovina. His departure is a great loss, first of all for his family, and then for our party and for all Bosnians and Herzegovinians who cherish the spirit of anti-fascism and the idea of a plural, unified Bosnia and Herzegovina, because these are the ideals to which Sveto devoted his entire life's work. I extend my sincere, deep condolences to the family, in the hope that the memory of Sveto's noble spirit and his honourable life path will be a comfort to them in these difficult moments," Nikšić said in the telegram published on Facebook.
