Nikšić: I am proud of everything we did for Krivaja, the Government does not care about the robbed workers

The FBiH Government, led by Prime Minister Fadil Novalić (SDA), today adopted the information from the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry on the implementation of the conclusion from September 1, 2016, which pertains to the situation in IP Krivaja d.o.o. Zavidovići - in bankruptcy.

In this regard, as stated in the information, the competent prosecutor's office will be submitted a report on the criminal offense committed against the former Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nermin Nikšić, and an unknown person employed by the Government of the Federation of BiH, responsible for the relevant department, due to reasonable suspicion that he personally, in his capacity as Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, and in connection with unknown persons, in accordance with their jurisdiction, initiated and carried out actions that have the characteristics of a criminal offense, namely association for organized crime and corruption, arbitrariness, abuse of official position and authority, abuse of authority in official business, fraud, forgery of documents, and negligent work in service, thereby damaging the budget of the Federation of BiH by approximately 43,000,000 KM.

Nermin Nikšić, leader of the SDP and former Prime Minister of the FBiH Government, says he is proud of everything his Government and he did regarding IP Krivaja Zavidovići.

- My only interest was to try to preserve more than a thousand jobs in this company, which has been systematically robbed for almost two decades by various SDA directors and their political sponsors from the FBiH Government and the Zenica-Doboj Canton Government.

During my mandate, the FBiH Government filed a series of criminal reports about all this, which were never prosecuted - Nikšić emphasized.

He further states that "when it comes to the report that the Government of Fadil Novalić is filing against me, it is a brazen attempt to justify their own incompetence, impotence, and lack of care for the workers."

- The purpose of the contract, which they claim will cause damage to the FBiH, is to ensure the linking of service years for the workers of Krivaja, whose contributions have not been paid since 2004, and in the same way as for all other workers in the FBiH who have the same problem. The contract was approved by the FBiH Government, and I, as Prime Minister, was authorized to sign it.

Linking service years for workers is an obligation of the institutions of this state because Krivaja was a state-owned company, and every government is obliged to help its citizens. The current Government led by Novalić has shown its heartlessness and lack of any care for the robbed workers, who in their vision of the state probably only have the right to die. I am fighting for a country where workers will live from their work and where those who have worked honestly will be able to retire - said Nikšić, Patria reports.
