Nikšić on dismissals: There is a panic fear of the new TK Government

(Patria) - After 18 deputies (SDP BiH, PDA, Naša stranka and SBB) in the Assembly of Tuzla Canton today voted no confidence in the TK Government headed by Denijal Tulumović (SDA), reactions followed.

The president of SDP BiH, Nermin Nikšić, reacted after Željko Komšić, the president of DF, stated that this was an attack on the "constitutional order".

"I know that it is difficult for SDA, DF, and SD to give up power, especially when they have to justify themselves to the war and post-war profiteers who brought them to power and who are losing influence and significant resources in this way. It is unacceptable for the citizens of Tuzla Canton to be hostages of an incompetent and corrupt government, to be deprived of the adoption of the budget because the ruling minority does not want to relinquish power.

Their desire for us to enable them with our votes to continue spending the money of the citizens of Tuzla Canton would make us accomplices in the crime and corruption that the current Government is steeped in. Precisely because of this, the new parliamentary majority previously dismissed ministers who were legally convicted or had their indictments confirmed, because SDA with its hangers-on from DF and SD did not mind that. Invoking the violation of vital national interest because of whether one or another Serb or Croat will sit in the leadership of the cantonal assembly goes beyond politicking and insults the common sense of every normal person.

It is especially outrageous when the Speaker of the Assembly triumphantly says that he is the "only true" Serb there, probably because he spent the war outside of Bosnia and Herzegovina, unlike Slađan Ilić, who was a member of the Army of BiH. If it were not about the violation of vital national interest, the Constitutional Court would undoubtedly determine that there is a council that decides on that issue, which is again missing because HDZ, SDA, and DF, who have shown countless times that they are only interested in themselves and the interests of their tycoons, sit in the leadership of the Federation.

Using the fact that there is no council in the Constitutional Court in order to retain a corrupt government that has lost the trust of the majority due to its crime and corruption is an abuse of democracy, and everyone in TK knows on whose orders and in the interest of which tycoons DF and SD are doing this.

It is interesting that there are no reactions from SDA, because it seems they have also realized who they have gotten involved with and by whose notes and orders they must play, but again from DF and SD. They are shedding crocodile tears over an alleged attack on the constitutional order, without lifting a finger to respect the opinion of the Constitutional Court that the TK Government is unconstitutional. At the same time, it is clear to everyone that this is actually a panic fear of the arrival of a new government that will expose the extent of the crime of the dismissed TK Government. We will not allow them to further destroy and devastate the legal system of Tuzla Canton by plunging it into crisis due to the non-adoption of the budget or the decision on temporary financing, because it is evident that there is no majority that would be willing to cover up their further crime and corruption.

I will always support the judicial institutions to do their job objectively and professionally. Until then, as the new parliamentary majority, we will take responsibility to unblock the work of the institutions and make the necessary decisions.

The vast majority of citizens in TK can hardly survive another year with the dismissed government and their insatiable tycoons. Therefore, TK will get a new Government headed by the respected professor Kadrija Hodžić, which will work in the interest of all citizens of the canton and be uncompromising when it comes to crime and corruption," Nikšić wrote.
