Nikšić on the referendum: If the OHR does not do its job, BiH will enter a dangerous political crisis

The RS authorities' playing with the sovereignty and unquestionability of BiH must stop. No referendum can threaten the existence of the BiH Court and Prosecutor's Office. On the contrary, this political adventure that Milorad Dodik is leading the RS entity into may have the biggest consequences first for him, and then for the citizens of RS who will continue to sink into poverty and isolation, commented the president of SDP BiH Nermin Nikšić on the announcements from RS about holding a referendum.

Nikšić told the Patria News Agency that it is high time for OHR representatives to start doing their job and, after almost a decade of yielding to those who are destroying BiH, react clearly and do their job.

- Otherwise, BiH will enter a very dangerous political crisis that will further worsen the already complex situation the country is in. The lack of reaction from BiH institutions, primarily the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Presidency of BiH, which are obliged to protect the integrity and key state institutions from any attack, is incomprehensible. If there is no consensus on this in state institutions, the citizens of BiH must know, Nikšić concludes.
