(Patria) - Last night's bombing is not just an attack on the property of Mayor Irfan Čengić, it is a well-thought-out message from the mafia that threatens what is sacred to each of us, the lives of family members, according to the reaction of SDP President Nermin Nikšić regarding this incident.

"It is not enough to just condemn this act, the rule of law is on trial here. Any, even the weakest state, wins the war against the mafia if it shows it is determined enough. That is why I call on the competent authorities to discover the perpetrators with a decisive action and bring them to justice without delay. Only then will we show how much we care about the institutions of the system, the rule of law, and the decisive fight against crime and corruption. I am absolutely convinced that the cantonal and federal police administrations will show that the mafia does not own our country," Nikšić points out.

As he says, he is sure that tonight's message will not stop the fight against organized crime and lobbies in Stari Grad.

"Returning Stari Grad to its residents and the steps taken by Mayor Čengić are clearly bothering those from whom the mechanism of illegal profit-making has been snatched. Unfortunately, once again we are witnessing how the fight against crime is a difficult task that poses a risk even to the families of those who decide to fight such a fight. Irfan Čengić, like any other public figure on this path, has and will have my full support," Nikšić concluded.
