Nikšić: Let Izetbegović, Čović and Radončić not drag SDP BiH into the mud they wallow in

President of the Social Democratic Party of BiH Nermin Nikšić called on the leaders of the ruling coalition in FBiH to finally start dealing with the numerous problems burdening citizens, instead of falsely or genuinely arguing through the media, and then blaming the SDP and the opposition for their own incompetence and mistakes.

- The SDP is not to blame that after four years of rule by the SDA - SBB and HDZ, not a single meter of highway will be built and not a single serious investment in energy will begin. While the SDP led the government, more than 60 kilometers of highway were built, while the greatest achievement of the current coalition is 60 meters of lavish sidewalk in front of the building of the Presidency of BiH.  

It is clear that not everyone in the current coalition is equally responsible. Therefore, Izetbegović, Čović and Radončić should explain to whom and how their Prime Minister Fadil Novalić intends to reduce pensions, because in his opinion that is fair?! It is time for them to publicly declare their position on this. 

The government led by the SDP increased pensions twice in three years and repaid a third of the 180 million KM debt that the SDA and HDZ governments had incurred towards the PIO Fund and pensioners. Let the leaders of the SDA-SBB and HDZ explain to the citizens how it is possible that Elektroprivreda BiH (EPBiH) buys electricity for 120 euros per megawatt, and then sells it to the Mostar-based Aluminij, which is completely left to the HDZ, for 33 euros?  - said Nikšić.

He further states that "instead of trying to conceal their incompetence with accusations against the SDP, it would be better for them to explain how it is possible that EPBiH, while it was managed by the SDP, operated positively even during the greatest floods and the heaviest snowfall that ever hit BiH"? 

- Today, that company is recording tens of millions of KM in losses and has almost no coal reserves at thermal power plant depots.

It is obvious that there are no problems in the coalition of the SDA and SBB when it comes to Prime Minister Novalić from the SDA and Nermin Džindić, the federal Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry from the SBB. The two of them, while their party leaders wage media wars, cooperate quite well in their own companies that do business with the state. That is obviously not a problem for the party leaders who appointed them to the positions they hold. 

It is clear how the coalition of the SDA-SBB and HDZ has halted all public investments in FBiH, brought the pension system and a number of public companies to the brink of collapse, and I tell them not to drag the SDP, which remains in opposition to their incompetent and harmful government, into the mud they wallow in - said Nikšić in his statement.
