Nikšić: National parties offer citizens fear and division instead of jobs

Polls show that in a large number of municipalities, a few votes will decide who wins the position of mayor. This was stated today at a press conference in Sarajevo by the leader of SDP BiH Nermin Nikšić. For this reason, Nikšić called on all members and sympathizers of this party to go to the polls on October 2nd. He said that the party is on the verge of a good election result and that every vote is important to them because of this.

- A vote for SDP is a vote against the division of BiH – Nikšić said, reports Patria.

- I must say that citizens across BiH have the same problems, regardless of which part they live in. They lack jobs, justice, opportunities, and a vision for a better life – said Nikšić, adding that SDP has offered the best people and a program to fight for a better life for all citizens in the country.

- The only things missing here are nationalism, division, hatred, and fear that are being introduced in this pre-election period – said Nikšić, adding that SDA and Bakir Izetbegović are offering exactly that to the citizens. Nikšić believes that a vote for the SDA-SBB coalition is a vote for the division of BiH, and a vote for Čović is a vote for a third entity.

- We have offered 861 young candidates, who are in politics for the first time. This is more than 40 percent of the total number of candidates. This is the future of this country – said the president of SDP.

- These people had two options; to leave the country, as almost 80,000 of their peers did in the past year alone, or to stay and fight. They chose the latter, and SDP has given them the opportunity to build the country they live in – Nikšić said at the last press conference before the local elections on October 2nd, reports NAP.
