Nikšić: SOA's report is definitely a tool against BiH

(Patria) - The publicly released report by the Croatian Security-Intelligence Agency unequivocally points to the dangerous fact that the Republic of Croatia is conducting intelligence activities in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, says Nermin Nikšić, President of the SDP and a Member of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly.

"Besides a number of claims that are absolutely untrue, I expect official BiH institutions, primarily OSA, the Council of Ministers, and the BiH Presidency, to react to this annual SOA report on security conditions.

It is interesting that this report, which compromises BiH, is being published shortly after Milorad Dodik's questionable visit to Zagreb, and the public presentation of this report will serve as a tool to legitimize Croatian policy in the fight against BiH.

The fact that the intentions are not entirely sincere or good-neighborly as they are presented in Croatia is shown by the fact that the official Croatian authorities did not inform the BiH authorities, so that anything mentioned could be considered and eliminated as a threat. On the contrary, they have publicly presented it and are still waving it around as a tool, especially since the report contains a mass of untruths and fabrications that harm BiH's reputation and security," says Nikšić.

As a state parliamentarian and president of the SDP, Nikšić demands that OSA BiH prepare a public report focusing on the relationship between BiH and Croatia, which will also present all the negative consequences of SOA's interference in BiH.

"Memories of SOA's shady dealings are still fresh, when in order to justify the statement of former Croatian President Kolinda Grabar Kitarović about 10,000 warriors, they tried to convince Bosniaks to smuggle weapons to locations associated with the Salafi movement in Bosnia.

The 'discovery' of these weapons would thus confirm that there are 10,000 people in BiH with 'very radical rhetoric and intentions'.

However, BiH not only controls the problem of foreign battlefield returnees but is also a leader in this field.

Therefore, the SOA report does not correspond to the truth and is definitely a tool against BiH.

That is why I urgently expect a reaction from BiH institutions, whose silence worries me even more, especially since this report could not have been published without the Croatian authorities and their institutions. Therefore, BiH institutions are obliged to react as soon as possible," Nikšić concluded.
