Nikšić and Dizdar meet with Kavazović: Government of the Federation of BiH and Islamic Community strengthen cooperation and support for key projects

(Patria) - Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nermin Nikšić held a meeting today with the Reis-ul-ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Husein ef. Kavazović, discussing the most significant projects of the Islamic Community in BiH and further improvement of cooperation between the Government of the Federation of BiH and the Riyasat of the Islamic Community.

The meeting confirmed a joint commitment to continued dialogue and a partnership approach in implementing projects of importance for returnees, religious communities, and society as a whole.

Prime Minister Nikšić emphasized that the Government of the Federation of BiH recognizes the importance of the role of the Islamic Community, as well as other religious communities, in preserving social cohesion, identity, and peace, and that support for key infrastructure and social projects will continue.

Federal Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees Nerin Dizdar informed the Reis-ul-ulema about the Ministry's activities so far, particularly in the segment of supporting the construction and renovation of religious infrastructure in returnee areas. It was emphasized that such projects are of great importance for sustainable return, strengthening communities, and creating better living conditions for all citizens.

Reis-ul-ulema Kavazović expressed satisfaction with the cooperation so far and the understanding shown by the Government of the Federation of BiH towards the needs of the Islamic Community and the returnee population, highlighting the importance of continued support for projects that contribute to the common good.

The meeting participants agreed that joint cooperation and coordination will be further improved, with the aim of implementing projects that will have a long-term positive impact on returnee communities, religious institutions, and the overall social development of the Federation of BiH. The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina remains committed to a partnership relationship and support for the most significant projects of the Islamic Community, as well as all other religious communities in the country.
