Nikšić - Đukanović: Retrograde policies from the past do not surprise us today

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Today in Podgorica, delegations of the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Democratic Party of Socialists of Montenegro met. The SDP BiH delegation was led by President Nermin Nikšić, and also included Benjamina Karić, Vice President of SDP BiH and Mayor of Sarajevo, Saša Magazinović, head of the SDP BiH caucus in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, and Vice President of SDP BiH and representative in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of FBiH Ivan Boban. The DPS Montenegro delegation was led by the party president and President of Montenegro, Mr. Milo Đukanović.

The topic of discussion was strengthening mutual cooperation between the two parties and support for the sovereignty and legal order of the two close countries.

President Nikšić expressed gratitude to Mr. Đukanović for his support for Bosnia and Herzegovina and SDP BiH in the fight for the protection of the integrity and sovereignty of our country.

The interlocutors agreed in their assessment that Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro will successfully withstand attacks on the legal orders of the two countries, both from within and from the surrounding region.

The delegations agreed in their assessment that retrograde politics, which cost a lot in the past, and its actors do not surprise us today, and that much careful attention is needed for the overall situation in the region in order to get closer to common strategic goals.
