Nikšić congratulates Zaev: A stable and European government is most needed at this moment

(Patria) - Nermin Nikšić, president of SDP BiH, congratulated Zoran Zaev, president of SDSM, the Party leadership and the entire Social Democratic Union on the successful formation of the new convocation of the Macedonian government.

"Although many expected the process to be difficult and long, by forming the government, you have once again proven your readiness to work for the good of the people and citizens of North Macedonia.

A stable and European government is what is most needed by Macedonian men and women at this moment.

Even more important is the fact that North Macedonia did not succumb to the wave of nationalism that has swept almost all countries in the region, but managed to form a government that will work for all citizens, regardless of their name, social status, or origin.

This is precisely where your strength lies, supported by traditional social democratic values, on the basis of which you want to make North Macedonia a country equal for all, a country of positive change, and a country that cares for its citizens.

On behalf of the Social Democratic Party of BiH and in my own name, I once again congratulate you on this great success, with the hope that in the future we will have the opportunity to build even better relations between North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina," Nikšić wrote.
