Nikšić congratulates on victory: Zoran's election a positive turning point

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Nermin Nikšić, president of SDP BiH, congratulated the newly elected president of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Milanović (SDP), on his victory.

"I expect Zoran's election to mark a positive turning point, in which the institution of the President of Croatia will represent an example of mutual respect, respect for the sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens, as well as friendly relations between our countries. I believe that Zoran will improve our shaken relations, which were damaged by the careless statements and moves of the former president Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović," said Nikšić.

He added that observers, delegated by SDP BiH, played a significant role in these elections in monitoring the electoral process and preventing electoral theft at polling stations in BiH.

"By doing so, they contributed at least a little to Zoran Milanović's victory, and I sincerely thank them through this," Nikšić stated.
