Nikšić congratulates Miners' Day: You are a special kind of people and that is why we hold you in great respect

On the occasion of Miners' Day, the President of the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nermin Nikšić, on his own behalf and on behalf of the SDP BiH, sent a congratulatory message to miners and the Federation of BiH Miners' Union, Patria reports.

- The mining profession has always been among the most honorable and most difficult professions. Every working day of yours, every descent into the bowels of the earth carries risks that can only be borne by brave and honorable people, ready to risk their lives to secure a livelihood for their families and to dig for black gold, essential for ensuring energy and the development of our country.

That is why miners are a special kind of people, towards whom we, in the SDP BiH, hold great respect. Precisely because of this, in their work and activities, members of the SDP have done and will do everything to ensure better working conditions, maximum safety, and an appropriate status for miners.

To all miners, on behalf of the SDP BiH and my own behalf, I congratulate Miners' Day with the wish that no comrade ever experiences any accident again – GOOD LUCK!
