Nikola Simić will be remembered for the role of Pantić from "Tight Skin"

Renowned Serbian actor Nikola Simić passed away today in Belgrade at the age of 80. He was a theatre, television, and film actor. Simić was born on May 18, 1934, in Belgrade, reports the BH news agency Patria. 

In high school, he acted in the drama club, and later graduated in acting from the Academy of Theatre, Film, Radio and Television in Belgrade. He had his first role as a student (1957) at the Yugoslav Drama Theatre, of which he has been a permanent member since 1959. 

He acted in numerous films and TV series. He became famous for the role of Mita Pantić in the film series "Tight Skin" (1982 - 1991). He acted in the TV series "Happy People" (1993, 1995), "Family Treasure" (1998, 2001), "SIS Agency" (2006, 2007), "Love, Habit, Panic" (2006, 2007).

Since 1971, he acted in the play "A Flea in Her Ear," with which he celebrated his 40th anniversary on June 7, 2011, writes Blic. 
He is also known for lending his voice to Bugs Bunny, Michelangelo and Shredder in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Megatron, Blustreak and Chip Chase in Transformers through animated film dubbing into Serbian. He is the brother of actor Slavko Simić.
