Nikolić via Twitter says he did not cancel Ivan Ivanović's show

Ivan Ivanović, editor of the show „Evening with Ivan Ivanović“ broadcast on TV „Prva“, denied that his show was cancelled due to inappropriate comments directed at Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić and his wife Dragica, reports the Patria news agency.

Ivanović claims that the conflict with „Prva“ was orchestrated by the owner and editor of "Informer", Dragan J. Vučićević, with whom he has been in poor relations for some time.

- The show has not been banned; it has only been temporarily removed from the schedule. It is very important that people know this - Ivanović said.

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić rejected on Twitter claims by some media that he was responsible for the cancellation of certain television shows.

- They say I cancelled a show because they spoke badly about me. If every show and tabloid that speaks and writes badly about me were cancelled, there would be no shows or tabloids left - Nikolić wrote.

Incidentally, Ivanović posted on his Twitter profile last night that the show will air regularly in its time slot starting next week.
