None of the ministers filled out the applications, Novalić tells Čavara's story

The list of national affiliation of candidates for ministers in the FBiH Government was not submitted to the members of the FBiH Presidency before the decision on appointing the FBiH Government, said Meliha Mahmutbegović, FBiH Vice President for the BH News Agency Patria.

- That was not the subject of our consultations with the candidates. And that list was not delivered to Prime Minister Fadil Novalić yesterday either, I expect it will be during today – said Mahmutbegović.

Mandate holder Novalić told Al Jazeera yesterday that everyone missed that there were four Serbs.

- When the applications were being filled out, there were indeed three with a Serbian affiliation, and one remained unfilled. Today we saw that we have this surplus of one minister from the Serbian people – said Novalić.

Safet Kešo, member of the FBiH Election and Appointment Commission, said yesterday after the canceled session of the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament that only one thing was disputed, and that was the sixth candidate proposed by the HDZ, who was supposed to be from the 'others' category.

Kešo confirmed that it was determined at the Collegium session that there are four Serb ministers and that they discussed Zora Dujmović from HDZ BiH.

–    One Bosniak position should have been ceded to someone from the 'others' category, but that position was filled by a minister from the Serb people. The minister we discussed today comes from the HDZ, and that is a fact – said Kešo.

Marinko Čavara, President of the FBiH, said yesterday that he had not received written statements from the candidates regarding their nationality.

- My colleagues and I cannot guess who belongs to which nationality based on their names. I asked today (yesterday, author's note) for the parties to submit the candidates' statements on their nationality – said Čavara.
