Nobody spoke ill of Alija Izetbegović the way Radončić did

Sadik Ahmetović, Vice-President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) held a press conference where he stated that SDA supports a joint list for the RS area for the upcoming General Elections in BiH, and called on all pro-Bosniak parties to support the program of the March 1st Coalition, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

- SDA will support the March 1st Coalition because in this way we will prevent the scattering of votes in the elections - Ahmetović said.

Ahmetović also commented on the dismissal of Fahrudin Radončić, former BiH Minister of Security, stating that Radončić will be remembered as the Minister of Security during whose mandate the BiH Presidency building burned.

- Radončić, increasingly angry due to his dismissal, proved his monstrous actions and false representation of Bosniak interests in an interview with Večernji list, where he stated that the burning of the BiH Presidency building was actually the burning of the era of the elder and younger Izetbegović (Alija and Bakir, op.a.) in the minds of Bosniaks, said Ahmetović, adding that in the past 20 years, nobody has spoken so monstrously about the late Alija Izetbegović, the first president of sovereign independent BiH recognized by the whole world.

Ahmetović stated that SDA calls on all honorable people from the Alliance for a Better Future (SBB) to distance themselves from such statements by their president.

Ahmetović also noted that SDA did not initiate Radončić's dismissal to gain one or two seats in the BiH Council of Ministers, but because he did nothing on February 7th, when he even incited the chaos that occurred during the demonstrations.

- For now, only SDP in the BiH Council of Ministers represents Bosniak interests, and I think it will remain that way - Ahmetović added, specifying that he has no intention of being Minister of Security again. Because Zlatko Lagumdžija personally initiated his dismissal.

- I have no intention of sitting in the Council of Ministers with him - Ahmetović said.
