The Serbian people are not disenfranchised and under pressure if Dodik is denied a visa to the USA

RS President Milorad Dodik cried on the shoulder of Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić, seeking protection for himself, Patria reports.

Dodik told Vučić that the Serbian people in Bosnia and Herzegovina are under constant pressure from certain representatives of Western countries, especially the US Embassy, as well as the Bosniak leadership, and that the RS feels threatened and the Serbian people disenfranchised in BiH.

In his lament, Dodik recalls his friend, the leader of HDZ BiH, Dragan Čović. And it is not surprising, of course, because the two of them are often together, plotting plans to achieve their political and business goals.

However, both are far from the truth.

Neither is the Serbian people disenfranchised, nor is the Croatian people unequal in BiH.

Bosniaks are the most numerous people. There are three times more of them than Croats. Both have the same number of positions, there is parity in the Armed Forces of BiH, parity in the Council of Ministers... and no decision can be made without representatives of the Croatian people.

The only place where Croats are unequal is in the Republika Srpska.

However, Čović is not interested in his compatriots living in the smaller BiH entity, because his desired third entity does not encroach on the territory ruled by Dodik.

The Serbian people, the second most numerous in BiH, have their own entity and territory of 49 percent.

They have as many positions as Bosniaks and Croats. No decision can be made without Serbian representatives. Nothing can be adopted if the smaller BiH entity blocks it.

So where is the Serbian people in BiH disenfranchised, where are these constant pressures?

The truth is that Dodik is under pressure because the US Embassy in BiH demands that he stop his retrograde and nationalist rhetoric, because they have not invited him to any important event for two years, because he has problems obtaining a visa for the USA...

Our sources say that he begged Vučić to help him mend relations with the USA, which have ignored him since he won the election for RS President in 2014 and started aggressively with anti-Dayton and nationalist rhetoric, and to help him obtain a visa to go to Washington in January.

What is happening to him, he presented to Vučić as happening to all Serbs in BiH.

And he acted from the standpoint - the Serbian people are me, the Republika Srpska is me.
